The PhotonDelta Foundation ("PhotonDelta") is a public private partnership and is established to realize a flourishing industry on the key enabling technology of integrated photonics in the Netherlands. Our mission is to realize growth in terms of 4.000fte, working together within at least 25 companies and creating 1 billion of revenues. PhotonDelta works together with companies, knowledge institutions, governments and development agencies. We position our technical knowhow and skills in different markets, such as Life Sciences and Health, Automotive, Data- and Telecom and Agrifood. PhotonDelta has the challenging task of effectively supporting the promising but still early Dutch industry in this area. Cooperation is key to drive innovation and growth. Close cooperation between stakeholders in the Netherlands is of great importance in this regard; not to mention cooperation within Europe and on a global scale.
The role of Stakeholdersmanager @ PhotonDelta
As Stakeholdersmanager, you are accountable to establish and maintain constructive collaboration between PhotonDelta’s internal and external key stakeholders in order to enhance PhotonDelta visibility and reputation, in line with strategic priorities. Your goal is to build a strong community and a network of trust amongst companies, knowledge institutions and governments. Your effort is focused on supporting our ecosystem by active stakeholdersmanagement, by strengthen the relationship outside and within. You will engage with policy makers, maintain regular contacts with them and their influencers in order to understand their particular needs, policies and interests. This applies to regional and national governments, but also within Europe. Furthermore, you will identify mutual interests between companies, universities and all levels of government, including European regions and partnerships. You will influence the agenda by creating dialogue on relevant items such as common challenges or business opportunities. While building a relation of trust and maintain a constructive collaboration, you act upon the interest of PhotonDelta.
You are experienced in public affairs, but above all you are a teamplayer who enjoys working closely together with a variety of stakeholders. Your DNA is to connect, to listen and read people and to build relations. Understanding different interests is key to help maximize the impact of our ecosystem activities. With your knowledge of our multistakeholders, you support your colleagues in the communication and positioning of PhotonDelta. With your hands-on mentality, you are able to follow up on ideas; plan and execute focused advocacy initiatives with mutual benefits for relevant stakeholders and act as a projectmanager when necessary.
PhotonDelta has a small team of currently 5 professionals. We plan to expand towards 7 professionals. Your homebase and focus will be PhotonDelta, but as stakeholdersmanager you will closely cooperate with key stakeholders.
You will be working from our office in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
Who are you?
- You have a Master degree in the fields of public administration, political science, law or communications.
- You have 3-5 years of practical experience in public affairs, a public private environment, public organization or as a stakeholdersmanager.
- You are fluent in spoken and written business Dutch and English.
- You are a relationship builder and a collaborative team player
- You are a keen networker with excellent influencing skills
- Innovation has your interest, besides a strong affiliation with (high-tech) technology.
We offer you a contract for 1 year, which is converted into a contract for an indefinite period if there is mutual satisfaction. Your salary depends on your background, experience and education.
