The PhotonDelta Foundation ("PhotonDelta") is a public private partnership and is established to realize a flourishing industry on the key enabling technology of integrated photonics in the Netherlands. The role of MarCom Manager @ PhotonDelta
Currently, we are looking for an experienced (approx. 5 years) MarCom Manager to drive the marketing and communications activities for PhotonDelta within our high-tech environment. As our Marcom Manager, you are responsible for developing ánd executing the strategy of marketing & communication to help achieve our growth ambition. Your effort is focused on supporting our ecosystem in growing the network with customers, strengthen the relationship outside and within, building a strong positioning in the high-tech industry through (social) media and inform our stakeholders. You will get to run campaigns and marketing programs, using both online and offline channels. The internal and external communication activities involve building our image of ‘global opinion leader’, position PhotonDelta in the global marketplace, besides the more policy-oriented communication towards our (semi)public relations. Further, you will create interaction and a dialogue between stakeholders, measure and analyze the impact of your MarCom activities and manage the MarCom budget. This role is a unique opportunity for you to explore a wide variety of marketing and communications activities on the job, with a dedicated team at your side.
You are experienced in the field of Marketing and Communication within a technological environment. You are a teamplayer who enjoys working closely with a variety of stakeholders. Understanding digital content marketing is key to help maximize the impact of our ecosystem activities and content across a variety of channels. Public private innovation and a multi-stakeholder network has your interest.
PhotonDelta has a small team of currently 5 professionals. We will expand our team to 7 professionals. Your homebase and focus will be PhotonDelta, but you will also closely cooperate with members of the MarCom team of companies covering the supply chain of integrated photonics.
You will be working from our office in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
Who are you?
- You have a Bachelor or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications or a relevant background, combined with 5 years of practical MarCom experience.
- You are familiar and capable of working with a broad range of offline and online social media and marketing tools.
- You are an expert in building marcom programs, measuring results and providing sales with useful insights and data.
- You are fluent in Dutch and master English at a high level (business/technical), both in writing and verbally.
- You have a positive "can do" attitude and are able to keep your focus in a hectic, dynamic environment. You are organized and able to manage multiple projects on time and within budget.
- You have experience in or a strong affiliation with working within the high-tech industry (technical driven environment).
- Innovation and a multi-stakeholder network (Public private partnership) has your interest.
We offer you a contract for 1 year, which is converted into a contract for an indefinite period if there is mutual satisfaction. Your salary depends on your background, experience and education.
