The team of PhotonDelta is currently working on her funding strategy 2020, as part of our annual plan 2020. We will update the information on our funding options, in February 2020 at the latest.
We want to be able to prioritize proposals. Therefor we work with several calls. Fundingproposals for business finance (pillar 1) are excluded from these calls; requests can be send to us throughout the whole year. Also proposal(s), fully focusing on the realization of a Photonic Integration Technology Centre (PITC) follow a different time path, see information below. For proposals on pillar 2 and 4 activities, we have an addendum.
Funding calls for pillar 2,3 and 4 proposals
Funding proposals for 2019:
1st call: 1st of July (closed)
2nd call: 16th September (closed)
Applicants who have submitted fundingproposals will be notified by e-mail. Proposals will follow the procedure, including an assessment by our expert panel and our investment committee.
Dedicated funding call for PITC
PhotonDelta is currently doing research to optimize the establishment of a Photonic Integration Technology Centre (PITC). Consultants from Roland Berger have written their findings in a report, the beginning of August 2019. This report is a fundamental building block to come up with a robust plan and create support to realize a PITC. We opened a dedicated call for PITC fundingproposal(s) in October 2019 (deadline 5th of October), with the scope of the establishment of the PITC in terms of purchase and management of shared facilities and knowledge sharing within a PITC.
Funding is made possible by substantial financial contributions from our partners, as a result of our
‘partnerconvenant PhotonDelta’ and the “Regio Deal Brainport Eindhoven”. Our partners are shown below.
Our public partners are the provinces of Noord-Brabant, Overijssel and Gelderland, the Minister of
Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality and the State Secretary of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy.
